All versions are well-equipped with kit such as touchscreen infotainment standard throughout. Higher spec S Edition and GT Line deliver extra features like LED headlamps and a panoramic sunroof.

Running costs and reliability

The Renault Kadjar scores strongly for value, while the range of petrol and diesel engines are some of the best for efficiency. Tax and insurance costs are low - the smallest diesel tax is zero. Maintenance costs are reasonable, while JD Power rated the car’s reliability as similar to more expensive models. Renault has an industry-leading safety record, so the Kadjar’s five star Euro NCAP award is no surprise.

How it compares with similar cars

The Renault Kadjar fits between the smaller Captur and larger Koleos in Renault’s SUV line-up. Slightly bigger than the Nissan Qashqai, it delivers both practicality and comfort. It has won awards for the Best Used Car of the Year and Best Used Mid-Size SUV from Auto Express magazine.
