Ford bolsters Puma range with new ST Line X Vignale trim
Ford has added a high-end specification to its Puma crossover - ST Line X Vignale.
Priced from £25,240, ST Line X Vignale takes the top-spot in the Puma range, with aluminium exterior trim and a redesigned grille helping to distinguish it from the rest of the range. Larger 18-inch alloy wheels are fitted too, while distinctive LED headlights give the Puma a sharper look.
Inside, the premium approach has been extended thanks to a full leather interior, a wrapped instrument cluster and comfortable heated front seats. The steering wheel benefits from heating too.
Roelant de Waard, vice president, marketing, sales & service, Ford of Europe, said: “Customers have told us that they want a range of options to help find a combination of style, equipment, performance and efficiency that’s just right for them. That’s something we committed to delivering with Puma, and with a new Puma ST coming later this year, we’re not finished yet.”
The Puma also benefits from a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Coupled up to a 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine, the drivetrain is said to drive down emissions figures and help with economy. As such, Ford claims emissions of 138g/km CO2 and 45.6mpg.
