Imperial Car Supermarkets Review The Vauxhall Insignia

The Vauxhall Insignia offers unrivaled value for money in a competitive and consumer-savvy family car market. Each model is exceptionally well equipped, regardless of trim level; the entry-level S and Exclusiv models come with electric front windows, digital climate control, a multi-functioning steering wheel and cruise control as standard. The SE trim adds a half leather interior, alloy wheels, automatic headlights and rain sensors. The sportier SRi comes with sports seats, electric rear windows and sports suspension. The range-topping Elite comes with full leather interior, aprking sensors and xenon headlights as standard. Satellite navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity are optional across the range. It just goes to show, there really is an Insignia for everyone!

The amount of equipment that the Insignia comes with as standard is unheard of in its competitors, giving consumers the opportunity to own a stylish, economical and feature packed car for much less! The dashboard controls are very easy to use and when you sit in the drivers seat you can really see the amount of effort that Vauxhall have put in to making the Insignia a very ergonomic and gadget-packed place to be. Boot space is very impressive across the range, with the automatic electric boot operation available as an option on the estate car. Safety is also among the Insignia's growing list of positives - it scored an impressive 5 stars in the Euro NCAP test - thanks to driver, passenger and curtain airbags offered as standard throughout the range. This achievement coupled with plenty of rear legroom and a large boot makes the Insignia a sure-fire winner for any family buyer seeking a great value car that also looks striking on the driveway.

Overall, we think that the Vauxhall Insignia is a well-rounded and practical family car that is appealing to a wide range of consumers with varying needs. While it could benefit from a quieter cabin and a generally more refined feel, there is no doubt that this is an excellent car that is fast becoming an established name in the family and business car class.
