Imperial Car Supermarkets are exceptionally proud that we now rank second in the UK for social media engagement in the motor trade, with a very healthy Klout score of 72.
Klout is a tool which measures the influence of a person or business across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. It looks at the number of people who interact with posts, and the depth of their engagement, then compares this to others to create a Klout score.
Recently, our posts on cars we have for sale at Imperial Car Supermarkets have performed exceedingly well on Facebook. These interactive posts provide lots of on page photos for Facebook users to explore, as well as a link to the car for sale on our website. With lots of people engaging and commenting we are delighted at the response, which includes many people tagging their friends and liking the post.
The Facebook posts we have run relating to Pokemon have also really hit the mark. Comments such as “I've got to get down to imperial check out that new Maserati you have in and catch some Pokemon!” along with 188 likes and responses have helped us retain our excellent Klout score.
As you may know Pokémon Go is currently a massive phenomenon all over the world. With the Pokemon app, as you walk around virtual Pokémon appear on the app. Using your phone you click and and try to catch them. Some areas are better than others to catch them, and some of the Pokémon are very hard to track down and find. Our most recent Pokemon post currently has 5.6k comments, 3k shares, 3.1k likes and has reached over 589,000 people!
